My Messaging Was Failing (and the 3 AI-powered Steps I used To Fix It)

Your messaging may be leaving value on the table. Here’s what I discovered.

TL;DR: I’ve developed a 3-Step AI Discovery Framework that turns vague executive messaging into compelling value propositions. Tested on my own business with measurable results. If your executive messaging is leaving value on the table, this is not another content generator — it is a strategic tool for uncovering and articulating your unique market value.

My Costly Messaging Disconnect

As executives, we excel at communicating organizational value yet struggle to articulate our own unique worth. This disconnect costs opportunities daily.

When developing the Verghis Group website, I found myself trapped in one of three common messaging pitfalls:

  • Generic platitudes: “Strategic solutions for complex problems” (sounds like everyone else)
  • Feature overload: Lists of services that fail to connect with client needs
  • Jargon-heavy positioning: Technical language that obscures actual value

These approaches fail because they start backward—focusing on what I want to say rather than what my audience needs to hear.

The 3-Step AI Discovery Framework: From Noise to Clarity

I developed a counter-intuitive approach to first use AI as a pattern recognition tool before using AI as a content creator. The result? Messaging that feels like someone read my client’s mind.

The framework works in three distinct phases:

The 3-Step AI Discovery Framework:

Step 1: Know What You Already Know

Don’t start with creating content. Seek to understand before you seek to solve. Use AI tools as extraction tools, not creation tools. This method surfaces hidden patterns and frameworks already proven in your work but buried deep in different areas that you’ve been too close to see.
(Perplexity, Gemini Pro with Deep Research).

Step 2: Validate, Don’t Hallucinate

Once patterns and frameworks emerge, rigorously verify them against reality. Organize what’s actually true so you build on solid ground, not wishful thinking. This step removes the “wishful thinking” that sounds good but has no basis in fact.
(NotebookLM).

Step 3: Pressure-Test Messaging & Content

The final step generates message variations and subjects them to skeptical (AI) prospect perspectives before real-world validation. Don’t forget to validate it with actual customers and prospects.
(ChatGPT, Claude).

The Breakthrough Results

Two core messages emerged that now drive Verghis Group’s market position:

“Transform your team’s biggest challenge into their proudest breakthrough.”

“Instead of selling you maps to a territory that keeps changing, I help you build the compass that works no matter what comes next.”

These aren’t just clever phrases—they’re crystallized insights from decades of work, extracted and distilled through strategic AI application.
